thoughts {on hobbies}

thoughts on hobbies [] thoughts on hobbies [] thoughts on hobbies []
one. || two. || three. || four. || five. || six. || seven. || eight.
:an activity done regularly in one’s leisure time for pleasure.
:a pursuit outside one’s regular occupation engaged in especially for relaxation.
our hobby used to be photography…
& then we started a photography business.
it’s our very favorite & we absolutely love what we do.
telling stories & capturing beauty makes us come alive
& we are so thankful it’s what we get to do for our jobs.
somewhere along the journey it become our regular occupation & passed up it’s place as our hobby.
& this christmas break, when life was a bit slower,
we looked at each other & realized we didn’t have any real hobbies anymore.
what do we enjoy doing in our free time to help us relax & enjoy the space between work?
these are my endeavors this year.
what i hope to fill up my free time with.
my new hobbies.
// mixed media art & journaling

  5. Love all of these. Reminds me of this quotes: “if you have two or three real passions, don’t feel like you have to pick and choose between them. Don’t discard. Keep all your passions in your life.” – Austin Kleon from Steal Like an Artist

  6. Nice gift in the loom! Beginning a weaving hobby would be very satisfying I imagine. Your plants look great. My hobbies include house plants too. Love them so much. In fact only yesterday I repotted 3 African Violets.
