The reason for it all, Hong Kong.
Sleeping on Hollywood Rd.
Exploring the towering, colorful streets.
Each building, its own bright hue.
Skinny and tall, pointing towards the sky.
Overpriced food filling our bellies.
Documenting Wing + Marco’s wedding celebrations on the other side of the planet.
Moments we will never, ever forget.

Exploring the streets of Ubud on our scooter.
Running out of petrol more than once because our gauge was broken.
Vanilla bean ice-cream and jasmine tea down the street.
More rainstorm swims in our backyard.
Monkey forest, slightly more terrifying than expected.
Yummy, yummy healthy food everyday.
Yoga everyday, too, under that thatched roof in the heart of the city.
Christmas movies in our favorite little vegan movie theatre.
Falafal sandwiches and ginger beer that was too spicy to drink.
Reflexology massages that almost made us cry, and most definitely made us sore for days.
Magnificent rice fields, praying we don’t see any snakes.
And our trek up the hill, through winding, tiny paths on our scooter to the spa tucked away in the jungle.

That rooftop pool, like a big ship, hanging over the city.
Waking up as early as it opens to soak in every last minute.
Falling asleep under our towels in the rain, waking up to the hot hot sun beating on our faces.
Not wasting a single second lofted high above the city.
Getting lost in the cloud gardens.
Glass domes filled with lush, green plants.
Life spilling out into the city.
The perfect, misty air filling our lungs.
Sleeping above a coffee shop.
Discovering the best pastries all over the city.
Carmel rolls + sweet brioche buns.
Haji lane, the Abbot Kinney of Singapore.
Trendy little shops and a Mexican restaurant tucked in the colorful buildings.
Plain vanilla and their yogurt parfaits filling our bellies more than once.
A Christmas festival in the park, twinkling lights and tiny dutch pancakes drizzled in chocolate.
Getting lost in our favorite bookstore, feeling so filled with inspiration.
And Meowmi the cat cafe, of course. Eating rainbow cake surrounded by fuzzy little friends.

Eyes wide in wonder as we peer through our taxi window.
Mountains covered in greens and blues.
Fog rolling, droplets on the windshield.
The same grand sight from our balcony window.
The cliffs, giants surrounding us.
The sounds of the mosque ring through the air.
Bikini sandwiches, rainy swims, and mangos + sticky rice at our blue fish hotel.
Thailandia every day. Tempura veggies and iced chocolate.
Avoiding the midday heat. Exploring the streets at night.
Dinner overlooking the coast and a deathly scary shuttle ride down that steep hill afterward.
Cute, colorful tuk-tuks to the edge of the sea.
Long-tail boats over the aqua waves. The wind dancing through our hair.
Railay beach. Heaven.
Pizza port and cliff climbs with Robot.
Swimming in the clear, salty water.
Tiny little fish bites that feel like electric shocks.
Food trucks that are actually food boats bobbing along the coast.
Low tide and that aqua ship anchored in the sand.
Monkeys along our path as we make our way across the peninsula.
Sunsets and pretzels and chips and soda as we sit in the sand.
Clouds roll in and kiss us with the most incredible rainstorm of our life.
Everyone running into the sea, hands held high to the heavens.

Humid streets, jet lag.
Pretending like we live here.
Our magical little rooftop, let’s stay forever and ever.
Reading memoirs, rainstorms, and city-view swims.
Julia toast and Nacho Libre.
A tiny little glass shop stuffed to the brim with lavender.
Lavender sprigs and a lavender cookie to go.
$2 pad thai from the tiniest food cart.
Best pad thai in all the land.
Pizza that was too cheesy at Salt + their signature Salt water that wasn’t salty at all.
My coffee that became our coffee. Everyday, across the street.
Iced chocolate drinks, amen.
And a pet fox out back.
“That’s my fox.” the barista calmly declared.
